Calf Transition Information

Calf prices vary based on sex, breed, color, chondro status, and estimated mature height.
Our calves are available in two ways:

Weaned calf:
We wean the calf at 4 months old, bring it into the barn, and spend a month using a hands-on approach to socialize it. The calf will be halter-broke, kept on a grooming routine, fully vaccinated, and ready for its new home. This is our preferred approach, but either option produces a calm calf.

Bottle calf:
We bring the calf into the barn at minimum 4 weeks old, they need the colostrum from the cow and gets them a good head start. We then start bottle-feeding, and work with it daily for hands-on socialization. The calf will be halter-broke and kept on a grooming routine to keep its coat looking its best.

A deposit is required to hold a calf, and calves must be picked up when they are ready for their new home.
